«Et Puis Voici Mon Coeur...» (And Then Here Is My Heart), Planche 18 of La Gazette du Bon Ton, 1920, drawn by Charles Martin, whose angular Art Deco line also filled the pages of Vogue and Vanity Fair. The summer dress is cut from voile de Ceylan, a fine cloth of the French textile house Rodier, hand-coloured through the review's labour-intensive pochoir.
