Just received the vintage fashion ads I ordered; everything was securely packaged a clear envelope with foamboard backing, and the ends and seams of the box were reinforced (no bumped corners or gashes). The ads were in wonderful shape - exactly as described, and no ragged edges or staple holes. The package was shipped promptly; the non-express shipping (w/ tracking and insurance) took about a month to arrive, so if time is a factor definitely pay for express air shipment. Great products, packaging, and service; I'll definitely be ordering from Hprints again.

The Gerda Wegener picture of Apollinaire and his "godmother", from La Baionette, 8 March 1917 arrived safely, well packaged. Thanks. It looks good. A copy of this picture and the magazine are currently displayed in the major exhibition "1917" at Centre Pompidou-Metz. I'd have liked to have had the whole magazine, which would not be very thick or heavy, because of wartime paper rationing. In fact if you still have the rest of the magazine, could you send it to me? It seems needlessly destructive to rip publications apart so you can send a picture to a customer. I hope you don't mind my saying, but I actually think it's a bit Philistine or "barbare" or "béotien" to destroy publications in this way. If you sent the whole thing, then the customer could decide whether to retain just the cover or other image from the magazine. The contents of the magazine are often related to the illustration and add to appreciation and understanding of the graphic work... You could give customers the choice, get them to tick a box, just picture or whole magazine. That should be possible on your website, which is excellent.
