«A Palm Beach», plate 40 from La Gazette du Bon Ton, 1921, drawn by George Barbier, whose Gazette plates were made almost exclusively for the House of Worth. It presents a tailored suit (tailleur) by Worth, the house widely called the father of haute couture, in a fashionable Riviera scene, hand-coloured in the magazine's pochoir stencils.
