Two women in evening gowns stand within a hand-drawn oval in this collectible 1950 clipping, a black ink fashion illustration by Tom Keogh: Jacques Heim's pale satin gown with a removable bolero, short in front with a train behind, worn with long black gloves, and Jeanne Lafaurie's navy brocade gown with a draped V-neckline, its full skirt swept to one side. A preserved paper witness of postwar couture.
