Two women stand either side of a long curtain in this authentic 1926 clipping, a fashion illustration for Chanel: one seen from behind in a low-backed sleeveless dress with four panels falling from the shoulders, described as sapphire blue Georgette crepe, the other in a gathered cape of the same fabric, lined with grey marabou, over a tiered ruffled skirt, drawn in black and white with a zigzag floor.
