Two women in evening gowns stand before seated diners in this authentic 1923 clipping, an illustration by Douglas Pollard captioned «La fin d'un dîner du dimanche au Ritz» (The end of a Sunday dinner at the Ritz): Jeanne Lanvin's full white satin gown with embroidered bands down the bodice and skirt, and a straight sleeveless off-white crêpe gown embroidered with silver sequins, worn with a cloche hat and a long necklace.
