Three women in long evening gowns and gloves appear in this original 1949 clipping illustrated by René Gruau: Marcel Rochas's gold gown with a plunging neckline and a draped panel at the back, Jacques Griffe's yellow off-the-shoulder gown with a dark flower at the shoulder, and Jacques Fath's dark olive satin gown with a long drape sweeping from the shoulder to the floor.
