Three women in evening gowns stand against orange-red panels in this 1949 collectible clipping illustrated by René Gruau: Christian Dior's strapless tan gown with a long stole and a bow at the shoulder, Schiaparelli's green gown with a wide V neckline and black gloves, and Marcel Rochas's lavender gown with an embroidered bodice and a draped stole, beside the title «Le soir» (The evening). A preserved paper witness of postwar evening fashion.
