Five women in evening gowns pose across two pages of this original 1949 clipping illustrated by Fernando Bosc: a strapless mauve gown, a grey-lilac skirt in tiers of pink and yellow, and a teal draped dress for Schiaparelli, Marcelle Dormoy and Paquin, Carven's lilac gown scattered with white camellias, and Marcelle Chaumont's burgundy draped bodice over a pale blue skirt, in soft colours on a grey-violet ground.
