Gouache on drawing paper, 1960, by Blanche Bassia.
Stylist-designer at Patou in the late 1930s, then at Jacques Heim from 1945 till 1949, she created her own company in 1950 and sold her drawings to the Dressmakers. Among them: Balenciaga, Bruyère, Raphaël, Germaine Lecomte, Nina Ricci, Bernard Sagardoy...
