Julie Ribault was the main illustrator of the "Petit Courrier des Dames". She also worked for the "Journal des Demoiselles" which belonged to the same group. Before dedicating her life to the fashion drawing she was a painter specialized in portraits. She is unknown today but she was one of the most important fashion illustrators of the first half of XIX ° Century
