Detailed description
A slave collar of French Coloniel inspiration, in golds of three colours, yellow, red, and white, has bands of ivory inset with the three golds in a zigzag design, and bells of carved coral at the ends. It opens by clever jointing, to slip round the neck. Van Cleef and Arpels.

To match the necklace, there ere earrings of white end yellow gold with a cylinder of carved ivory end a coral ball. There is elso a clip of gold, ivory, and coral, the invention of Van Cleef and Arpels, which may be worn in the hat or in the folds of the neckline, or even fastened to a bag.
