Parisian painter and theatrical designer, daughter of actor and playwright Albert Carre and singer Marguerite Giraud Carre (married 1901), she would appear to have become active as a designer of revue costumes ca. 1930. She worked for the Casino de Paris, the Mogador Theater, the Concert Mayol, the Gaite Lyrique and the Ziegfeld Follies in New York
