For months now, the Ballet Theatre's "Bluebeard" has been amusing audiences. Practically everyone involved with it kept his tongue in his cheek: Fokine, who staged it; Vertès, who designed the sets for comic horror and the costumes for pure delight. On this page are not only Simon Senenoss, as the Alchemist, Anton Dolin, as Bluebeard, Baronova as the Sixth Wife, but also the five beautiful wives who loved to be pushed around.
