IN MOSCOW THIS WEEK SOVIET RUSSIA HELD HER FIRST FASHION PARADE SINCE THE WAR. DESIGNERS FROM ALL OVER RUSSIA BROUGHT A TOTAL OF ELEVEN HUNDRED MODELS TO THE CAPITAL. THE IDEA OF THE PARADE WAS TO DETERMINE WHAT STYLES THE STATES WOULD MANUFACTURE ON A MASS SCALE. A WEEK'S ACTIVITY CULMINATED IN A MANNEQUIN PARADE AT WHICH THREE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FIVE MODELS WERE SHOWN. THESE THREE HUNDRED ODD WERE CHOSEN TO COVER A FAIR VARIETY OF STYLES FROM ALL PARTS OF THE SOVIET UNION...
