Inspired by the Chinese Exhibition and the glorious collection of Oriental brocades and silks at Jacqmar, Mr. Howard Coster has cast a silken thread and captured the Chinese influence on the fashions of to-day. A long coat of stiff silk with hanging sleeves is taken from an earthenware figure (A.D. 728)
