Detailed description
"Dream" fashions by Salvador Dali

Dali, the Spanish artist, leader of the surrealists, who paints the way Gertrude Stein writes, herewith contributes his first fashion drawing, dubbed "Imaginative suggestions for this summer in Florida." The first evening gown, he explains, is encircled by a girdle of coral. The second creation has a mask of flowering roses, with bracelets and girdle of plaster and stockings of polished leather. The specter in the background is a suggestion for garden decoration. Ditto, the furniture, destined to be carried out in white bronze. Not any of these are at Bergdorf Goodman, Marshall Field, or Bullock's Wil hire, California.
